Okunoshima (大 久 野 岛) is a small island located in the inland sea of Japan in the city of Takehara, Hiroshima Prefecture. Okunoshima can be accessed using the ferry from Tadanoumi and Omishima. The island is often called Usagi Shima (ウサギ 島, “Rabbit Island“) because there are a lot of wild rabbits running around, they are docile and will approach humans.
