Morning, work as usual, have to settle many stuffs before the long holiday breaks visitin supplier/factory.

This is my first time to UK, kinda excited plus I'll be alone there for few days hehehe. Dont worry, I've promise Dly I'll be good boy :p

Sg Gabai Waterfall

Went there with my group of friends(7). It's near "small genting" area but it took around 1hour+ to reach there from "small genting" up the hill, down the hill pass few pekan/kampung, the road bengkang-bengkok... I think it's more near to Kajang area as i c sign board xxKM to Kajang.

Some of the ppl we inquiry tell us we should go by pheonix plaza highway pass the 70sen toll, but Dly is the only one who know the way there & he only know going there from "small genting" area & we are aready in "small genting" area there no way for us to turn back & waste our time.

It's such a long journey, look like we are going outstation -_-" It took us 2hours++ to get there. We lost our way, stop & askin for direction, blablabla.... The path toward the water fall was sooo smalll that barely 2 cars can pass and it was a two-ways road.

One of my friend gone angry/mad as usual due to the long journal drive and other unknown reasons.. We are use to it, as usual we have our specialist (Mr.Hen) to due with him :)

There were so many ppl when we reached, mostly malay (90%) We have to climb stepssss with all the foods/drinks/cloths to reach to the resting area (middle) of the waterfall where the water is much more clearer. My legs were so to tiring and pain when I reach the top, is around 100+ steps i think -_-" with different height...

The enviroment was very good although has lots of ppl there, the water was clear & cool, too bad no fishes there (maybe it have but i dint c any) Feelin so good lying down on the rock where the water keep on flowing down cleasing our body.

Up above we can see bamboo stick & leaf filling up the sky (Feeling like we are in the movie scene of "Cruching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and "Hero"). Feel so natural with the voice of the jungle + water.. so relaxing :)

It's a good place for relaxing after a long week of work...

We when for makan "ikan bakar" near there on the way back. The enviroment was so special/traditional where we eat on top of the fish pond (pondok), they have small pondok house on the ground too but it was too small to fit us all. Just a little comment, the place was so old (not dirty, but more to natural) where the pondok was full of spider net :p The fish is very fresh, we order 2 fishes "Talaphia" & "Patin", goreng sotong(4pax) & a plate of vege "KaiLan". The "Talaphia" have a little "mud" smell, luckily it was only 1kg fish & the "patin" taste so good (2.2kg) and it only coz us RM75+ for 7 ppl, kinda cheap, right?

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

My friend and I only go for the movie after it was on screen for few weeks. Since this movie does not catch our attention (kid's movie) We just wait till we are able to use the UOB buy one free one ticket (around 2weeks later)

We though the buy1 free1 promo was expired last month (original expired date was end of the year, but UOB/GSC extended it), luckily I saw the notice on GSC counter, saying that the voucher is valid till end of this month. If not we will miss the promo offer. Guess that many ppl complain about their last minute change of the expire date.

My friend subcribe to the credit card just fo the ticket voucherss, now he already cancelled the CC -_-" what a typical chinese man LOL hahaha dont angry la... u know who am I talkin if u r in my group, if not just ask me lo... :p

The movie is just as expected "kid's movie" nth really interested, but it do have some joke scene but averall i'll give it a 2.1/2 stars movie. If is good if u cant find any othere movie to view & u got time & of coz $$ to waste too...

Lords of Dogtown; Delicious Kitchen (Sunway Py); Golden Lake Rest (S.Kembangan)

Free movie (morning) from my friend's company at Sunway Pyramid with others 7 'P'. Have to wake up so early..... its has been a while since I woke up so early (9am) on Sunday.

Dly dint join us as he has to celebrate b'day with his sis & family. Feel so sleepy in the cinema. Not much action, more like a bunch of un-educated 'samseng' kids that are pro on skate-board. Though they are pro on surfing on the sea since in the begining it show some surf scene hmm.... surfing on sea same as playing with skate-board ?_?

Not really like the show, but wat u expect for free movie ticket. All actors look so dirty/bad to me, long hair (oops, i dislike long hair male) and so gangster type -_-" beside that I'm not in to skate-board sports but others X-treme sports is still ok to me.

The storyline & ending was so dull, friends become enemy then back to friend again, the rich die of brain cancel, the pro become famous and most all girls in the movie are so slut!!!.... hmm... base on true story? How come I dunno any of them or their company name ?_?

We went for makan later on the at Delicious Kitchen. When i look at the menu all the foods in the menu was so similiar to Equ***** price are around the same too more like photocopied..... but the food is not better either.... Equ***** is much more better somemore got discount on HSBC Card wont go there makan again thanks Cho for the intro :p

Later of the day, I went dinner in Sri Kembangan Golden Lake Rest with Cho. My X learning centre organized a singgin contest there together with his previously working studio in Banting. Around 20+ tables with around 40 contestents -_-" mostly chinese oldies so boring. My X do sing during the 1/2 time, he is still so good in singin.

We just went back after the last dishes is serve. We went visit my elder god bro (sleeped) & malay friends in Arena Green apartment on the way back. In the mean time, I was so happy to receive call from my 'P' friends that haven't contact for a long time. After we reach the apartment, I went to the balcony lookin at the stadium (Carnivals) & KLCC view whie talking to my friend on phone, the "TV3 fireworks" start we din't know they putting up fireworks there, my friend on the phone told me that it is live on TV3.

Hahaha I think u wont feel the grand effect by watching TV, the feel is totally different :p The fireworks was so nice & huge, it can be view so clearly from the apartment balcony...I'm glad that I'm there, right place at the right time. hehehe..... What a lucky day

Gay & Lesbian Guide to Europe (Kinokuniya)

Went KLCC with Dly to meet his friend to discuss about the trip to Myanmar. We go there by LRT from Kelana Jaya, Dly car parked near his friend house there (PJ) while my car park in front of Dly house (Klang) -_-"

Suppose to go swimming, but due to the time concern, the planned has been postponed.

Talking about travel by LRT, I still remember few years back when I took LRT to tuition centre when I was still in secondary school. Wow that was 6years++ ago since my last usage of LRT -_-"

Too our disappointed, not much traveler guides there too, but they do offer more title to choose from :p To my suprise I found some interesting book (refer to tile) Hmmm.... I never know they sell it in Malaysia, at least not in big bookstore. The infromation provide are really helpful since i'm going London this mth. hehehe.... XD

Dly bought a travel guide to Myanmar in English version as they don't have Chinese version either, those available are not complete, as it's mixed with other countries (Asian)

When we pay at the counter (seperate) the sale/counter girl told us that we can get 20% discount on the travel book if we bought another things (book/pen) So I "tumpang" my book together with his, and you probably can guess it, the sale girl have a strange eye on us LOL.

Since mine was also a "travel" book I get 20% discount too XD Wonder why they din't put any sign/notice on the 20% discount? Shouldn't that will attract more customers?

We eat at A&W for breakfast+lunch(brunch)+dinner & refill the drink more then 4 times LOL b4 we went doing our research, reach KJ LRT around 10:30pm and we have our supper (satay) near there, wat they call 'big long kang' area in KJ. I reached home around 12:15am from Klang, and learn a new route that can bypass the RM1 toll XD

Woke up late in the afternoon since its holiday, & I din't go any places to countdown but I'm still stayin late yesterday night watching my DVDs'collection of Jurassic Park :p

Went t to Times Square's Border with Dly whole evening doing research, bought few travel books (London) & Programming book. Not much travellin book wriiten in Chinese, even for English subtitle, we only manage to find 3books on Myanmar -_-"

We're sitting there (chair/floor) whole day as we browse through the travel books on London & Myanmar b4 buyin it. I found out the best travel book was from the publisher 'DK' & 'National Geographic'. Since 'DK' series are more up to date (re-printed on 2005 ) I bought a the 'DK' handbook 'Top10-London' (cheaper, smaller in size & easier to carry). The travel books on both publishers dint really intro much on those xxx place/pub, anyway I've make enough note from others publisher :p

While Dly only found few travel books on Myanmar with wordings only -_-" no pix at all o.O, of course he dint bought it since it's not written in Chinese (preferred) and not picture.

We went for the movie on 6:50pm (bought the tickets earlier when we reach there - no discount on wed coz it's holiday), the cinema was so pack even that the 1st rows was full -_-" but this was the only time it showing for the whole day, the movie is quite ok & funny too, those racing driver look good too :p Too bad that they only appear for a while :(

After movie we go over Jln. Alor to have our dinner after buying some PC stuff at Low Yat. I order rice with pork meet, so funny that they give me a "big bowl" with rice & meet inside & chopstick to eat -_-" I though they suppose to serve on plate? or use a small bowl to used with chopstick ?_?

Merdeka Eve

Today is Merdeka Eve, and it is already pass 8pm and yet I'm still in the office alone doing my work, in the mean time waiting for my friends come over for dinner, he's still workin till now too :p

Dly giving me excuse not to meet me tonight due to traffic jam.... He suppose to meet up his X, but due to his X got OT till 8pm++ they cancelled the meetup. Seem meeting X more important? I think i should go find my X too :p

What else can I say? One word to desc all "boring". Anyway I doesn't like crowed place too. I know Atmosphere, LQ, PLU cafe have event and function goin on, but I'm not a clubbing guy moreover I'm alone (interm of soul). ps. most of them in my group of friends do not enjoy clubbing too :)

Since I will be goin over to Time Square's Border tomolo for some travel research on books with Dly. I'm going London this coming Sept & Myanmar end of the year or maybe begining of next year with Dly & maybe my group of friends (still in the process of plannin) plus we have to wait till 'MARTA' fair, till now I'm just focus on my next month London + Spain business & backpacking tour.

Kelana Jaya Swimming Pool (Kelana Jaya); Studio23 Satay (Ampang); NewWay K (Cheras)

Went swimming with Dly in the afternoon around 4pm (session closed at 5pm) Enterance fees @RM4, expensive? There was a notice saying that the enterance fees increased on 1st August.

This the first time I went there, it has been long time I din't go for swimming since....err.... last year?? I'm only able to swim few laps, due to poor stamina, guess I dint excersice for quite some time, huh?? hmm... It's time for me rebuilt my stamina.

Not really like the pool coz it's not deep enough but it's good for Dly since he dont swim well. Many ppls over there with all type of races, malays, indian, chinese. I prefer Chin Woo's pool more as mostly Chinese there (I'm abit racist) Beside that, as I can recall most of them are pro swimmer. I enjoy seeing them swimming too :p Din't go there for almost 2 years since my last break off with my X.

After that we take a short walk in the park then straight to Ampang for dinner (opposite Flamingo Hotel) where Dly highly recommend it. Its call Station 23 if not mistaken. We meet his friend there. Hmm....satay ... i though the best was in Kajang?? Suprisingly the satay there was so delicious until we over ordered and wasted 2 satay sticks, not eaten :(

Later on, we went to look for my friend yam cha near Miharja condo. Dly's friend have a sudden plan of K session, since Dly wanted to meet his friendss (actually my friend in that group too, what a small small world) that long time no meet & I din't sing K on that place b4 & Jer "Song God" is goin too, so we decided to go.

To my disappointed, NewWay has too little songs to choose from as most of my favourite songs was not listed, I more prefer RedBox. We sing till late night and went back around 4am but our friends still continue their singin since 4hours ago -_-" paying @RM39 each.

I need to sleep early for the following days inorder to make my 'black eyes' disappear, it look so ugly :(

Min's Kitchen (Cheras)

Go for gathering as usual with my group of friends, opposite "Bu Yea Tian" hawker center in cheras. Our group become quite a big group later on from 6ppls --> 12ppls

Actually we've been lookin for this place since one of the PLU cafe's owner intro us, only found out the location recently where one of my younger god bro stayin just above (condo) there -_-"

The enviroment there was good, nice lady boss too, as we get free foodss :) The foods is ok, nth much to complain about except for the pricing, that are quite expensive, beverage price is still acceptable.

The sky was not that good as it rain whole night. Can't c the planet MARS as planned haizzzz hope tomorrow it will be a clear sky :)

Bewitched (1U); Hakka Rest (1U)

Dint really wan to watch these type of movie coz it look boring. Dly wanted to watch it so desperate make me no choice, luckily we have a deal later on where if there is any more of "these" kind of movie, he'll watch it with his friends, not me.

Nothing much to complain or praise about the movie coz i'm not lookin at screen most of the time as the movie was so dull. Got the same feeling as few year back where i watch LOTR-2Towers "alone" with 2tickets on the day b4 CNY (chap go mei) where my X fly me aeroplane...... again in one word, sien....

We when makan b4 the show in Hakka restorant?? (beside Kenny Rogers) around that name :p

That was the first & last time me & my friends ever eat there!! The foods suck.... The rice look uncooked -_-" and the mee, wow, so damn small, I dont even think it can fill up my younger nephew (3yo) stomach... The price is still resonable but the food, no way!

The Maid 女佣

Watch this movie with a large group 'P' friendss... (13ppls including 4couples, almost everyone have a profile in ax) Suppose to watch at mid night (more feel/scary), but due to tiring we watched at 9.50pm then we went PLU cafe for a drink.

Beside the movie, I enjoy the "alt movie" beside me where ppls closed his eyes + screaming sound LOL . Feel scary in the beginning, but after a while when the maid found out that the dead body in the drum, everything seem so boring after that.

Few weird scene appear in the movie that i don't know wat's the purpose or not logic at all....

1. The Scorpions
   Y it appear on screen? moreover it's so huge -_-" no function at all, just shoot the 2 scorpion moving then that's all, its not scary at all -_- OR just director's pet to show off he rare these scorpion???
   
   
2. The Shadow
   From the movie the coffin delivery driver just say it will make the person very bad luck if the shadow of the coffin touch that person, but how come the maid 'wati' gone crazy & jump down from building after that ?_? She been sitting there a while b4 jumping but no ppl stop her ?_?
   
   
3. The Killer
   The maid 'Mum' standing in the middle of road for quite a while.. y can't the driver stop the car or at least 'Honk' b4 knocking her? The driver should have more then enough time to do these action!! OR it is b'coz the driver is Singaporean drive ?_?
   
   
4. The Ghost
   Last but not least.. i wonder how the ghost survive under the sun light in the morning & afternoon ?_? i never hear ppl saw "these thing" during daylight... "the ghost" in this movie surprisingly strong & powerful -_-"

Conclusion: Bad movie, not worst seeing it but it worth seeing the one beside u with all sort of action LOL

The Island

To my surprise, the movie is much more better then i though! No dull scene at all o.O Just wonder y it was gonna drop from cinema scene so fast ?_?

Nice actor/actress & very nice high tech stuff. Like the car so much & the bike too, not to forgotten about he boat too, hope can own one in future XD

Hmm.. cloning seem good idea beside helping those needed, how about cloning Owen or some Honkee celebrities & I'll teach them all the stuff hehehe XXDDD

Stealth (Klang Parade)

Went for movie in Klang Parade with Dly, surprisingly it was so pack in the cinema, almost 90% full -_-"

Sitting 5th row front from the screen even with phone booking early in the morning -_-", everything was so huge & big, eyes were so tiring & can't really c well actually :/ Wonder how those sitting on first & 2nd row can tahan -_-"

Conclusion, movie not bad, actor not bad too :p just some dumb dumb love scene that can be ignore in Thailand, i think they just to make the movie length longer...

Hmm... went The Curve yest & bought some clothing & pants. This is the 3rd time of the month I went for clothing & it's just middle of month..

The Triangle Problem or What's Wrong with the Obvious Truth

They say seeing is believing, but what happens when the most obvious answer deceives you?

We've all heard that you can lie with statistics. That by fudging the numbers just a little bit, or by asking the wrong question, making the graphs look bigger/smaller than they should be, and so on, you can exaggerate or completely fabricate the truth. And we all know that there's a fundamental problem with most discussion on the internet because you can't prove anything anyone says, so it all boils down to a matter of opinion, shouting, and logic puzzles designed to get the other person to concede "yeah, maybe."

Well, never has this been more obvious to me than in the Triangle Problem. I don't know how old this is, or where it comes from, but I've seen it in a handful of places on the internet, even in another language (maybe that's where it originated?). On first glance, it looks impossible, but after doing some research, I saw the subtle lie that was being perpetuated right before my eyes.

I give it to you exactly as I found it (well, except for adding my website to the corner so I get at least a little promotion from hot linkers).



Try and figure it out before continuing on. Some people intuitively "get" it, but you have to understand what's going on. Other people don't get it, even once it's been explained to them.

This is obviously impossible. If the triangles are the same size, then how can we create an area that has 1 extra space? And it's obvious that the triangles are the same size - 8 long by 3 high, and 5 long by 2 high.
Staring at the picture for a while you begin to notice subtle things that seem wrong but can't possibly explain such a large hole. If you look at the bottom picture you'll see that the green triangle is exactly 2 high, but the if you look at the top drawing, the red triangle passes just under that spot in the same place. And if you look at the top picture, you'll see that the red triangle is exactly 3 high, but the picture on the bottom crosses just over that spot in the same place.

The top triangle just looks a sleight bit bigger than the bottom triangle, but by looking at the red & green triangles themselves, they're always the same number of boxes, and more importantly, the triangle as a whole is always the same size: 13 x 5.

The truth is, this isn't a triangle you're looking at. It's two different four sided figures. The apparently straight line that connects the bottom left to the top right isn't straight. It's two different lines, and that accounts for why the top drawing doesn't line up with the bottom one exactly, even if the shapes appear to be the same basic size.

Let's forget about the smaller triangles for a moment and draw the boxes. One is 3 x 5, and the other is 2 x 8. (my apologies to anyone who may be color blind, I can re-do these drawings if you need it).

If you look closely, you'll see that the 3 x 5 red box is on the inside of the gray triangle area, and the 2 x 8 green box is on the outside. Let's zoom in a bit so you can see that easier.


That's such a small difference though, it can't account for an entire box being created, can it? Let's look at the two triangle again, this time, superimposed one on top of the other.

Here you can see clearly that the 2 x 8 green box is just a little bit outside the line, and the 3 x 5 red box is just a little bit inside the line. Neither falls exactly on the line. You can also see more clearly the difference between triangles created by the green and red boxes.

Okay, so some of you are saying "wait, not nearly enough space to make up for the size of the box." Well, what you aren't taking in to acount is just how little space a box would take if stretched out over a diagonal line that stretches 13 wide and 5 high. Here's the box just stretched 13 wide, without even thinking about 5 high.


Now, perhaps, it's concievable that the small differences between the two shapes could create an apparently larger hole in one of them. Go back and look at the original image, and this subtle curve in the line you thought was straight should be a little more obvious.
And that's the problem with most apparently objective truth. Even when it's staring you in the face, it's impossible to tell that one of the two "triangles" is exactly 1 box bigger than the other, or that they're not even triangles at all, but four sided figures subtly arranged to look like triangles.
It's also the problem you have when trying to explain a subtle truth to someone who lives in a world where all apparently straight lines are straight and there's no possible way a small deviation from straight could lead to such a large change to the whole.
